Disaster and Emergency Response Plan
The objective of the Mount St. Joseph University Disaster and Emergency Response Plan is to provide maximum practical protection for students, faculty, staff, and visitors in the event of a crisis.
Natural disasters, such as floods, severe storms and tornadoes, and man-made disasters resulting from chemical accidents, falling aircraft, fires, explosions etc., are potential hazards for which we must be prepared. We must also prepare for a man-made crisis, which can come from active shooters, bombs or bomb threats.
