Teacher Education Program Performance Data



Mount St. Joseph University Teacher Education Program, which is designed to prepare competent, collaborative, caring, and reflective practitioners, is granted National Accreditation by CAEP (Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation) for the seven-year period 2019-2026. This accreditation certifies that the forenamed professional education program has provided evidence that the program adheres to CAEP’s quality principles.

CAEP mandates that eight specific annual reporting measures be reported each year by educator preparation providers.  This reporting is meant to allow providers to routinely gather, analyze, and report critical data about their programs as one means for public accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. The data encourage in-depth evaluation, self-interrogation, and reporting, and they are useful for both employers and prospective applicants.
