Mount St. Joseph University has been awarded the Ohio Reach Postsecondary Designation, recognizing the institution’s commitment to supporting students with foster care connections as they pursue higher education.

Mount St. Joseph News

The Ohio Reach Postsecondary Designation is awarded to colleges, universities, and technical centers that demonstrate intentional support for students who have experienced foster care, kinship care, or out-of-home placement. Designated institutions provide resources, campus contacts, and supportive services to help students access, navigate, and complete their postsecondary education.

As part of the Ohio Reach Network, the Mount will continue strengthening campus supports, increasing awareness of available resources, and connecting eligible students to opportunities such as emergency funds, scholarships, and community support.
