From October 20-24, Mount St. Joseph University Shines a Light on National Transfer Student Week to Spread Awareness of the Diverse Student Needs of Transfer Students.

Mount St. Joseph News

From the minute you walk through its front doors, Mount St. Joseph University greets all of its students with a warm and welcoming experience. The Mount addresses the diverse needs of all students, and is always ready to help you feel at home with your transfer experience to help you reach New Heights–offering career opportunities, new connections, and personalized attention.

From October 20-24, 2025, the Mount highlights National Transfer Student Week to build awareness of diverse student needs within transfer student populations.

According to the National Institute for the Study of Transfer Students, (NISTS), with more transfer students than ever before, it is important to build awareness of common transfer barriers students may face to create pathways for degree completion.

The Office of Admission staff are prepared to give you the resources you need to succeed and make sure your transition experience is seamless. They understand first-hand the needs of transfer students looking for a four-year college, exemplifying care and service to guide you through your transfer experience, addressing your unique needs through hands-on, custom counseling for transfer students.

This includes personalized appointments, and identifying transfer pathways to keep transfers on track with their career goals to exceed personally and professionally.
