Why did you choose the Mount?
I love the tight-knit community that the Mount offers! When touring MSJ, I also appreciated how easy the campus was to navigate. I live on campus for convenience, but I'm still close to home, which was really important to me.

Are you involved in any student organizations or extracurriculars? If so, how have these supported your academic success?
I am involved in the Student Association of Sport Management, where we organize many fun, sport-related events on campus!
How do you manage your course load along with other obligations?
My professors ensure I am equipped with everything I need to complete my assignments, making the process smooth and less stressful. Class time is used efficiently, allowing me to balance schoolwork and enjoy my hobbies!
Are there any staff or professors you would like to credit who helped accommodate your transfer experience?
Mary Mazuk was extremely helpful, patient, and reassuring throughout the process. She cares deeply about the success of the students at the Mount and always ensures we're on the right path.
Describe one of your favorite memories at the Mount so far.
One of my favorite memories at the Mount is hanging out with my boyfriend and his friends to watch the NFL and NCAA college football games. I come from a family of all brothers, and watching the games feels like I have a little piece of home here at MSJ!
What advice would you give to someone looking to transfer to the Mount?
Don't hesitate! The MSJ community is very welcoming, and with its tight-knit atmosphere, you always feel a sense of encouragement from your peers. There are countless opportunities to connect with others and make tons of memories to last a lifetime!
What was your experience like connecting with students on campus?
Everyone is very nice! Depending on your major, you tend to have multiple classes with the same people, allowing for friendships to grow and develop.
Can you describe your experience with the transfer scholarships and applying for them?
It was a simple and easy process to apply for transfer scholarships, and it took only about five to ten minutes. There are other scholarships available for first-generation students, as well as many more that are easily accessible!
How has the Mount supported you so far?
Thanks to receiving a scholarship from the Mount, my financial burden is lessened. The Mount ensures I always have everything I need, and if any issues arise, they are addressed quickly, efficiently, and with care.
