A minor in Biology blends knowledge of basic scientific processes with an appreciation of the phenomenon of life.

Requirements span a wide range of subjects, from microbiology and ecology to chemistry and special research projects that provide a solid scientific foundation.

The Biology Department’s minor in biology is an excellent addition to a major in Natural Science, Chemistry, Psychology, and other majors offered by the University. The biology minor requires 20 credit hours; students can tailor that coursework to complement their own personal career goals.

Great complement to any degree!
