Meet Hannah Morgan, Biology Major and Psychology Minor ’23, Now Clinical Microbiology Lab Technologist at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital

Hannah Morgan, a proud 2023 graduate, is making a significant impact at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Her journey began at the Mount, where she pursued a major in Biology and a minor in Psychology. Now, as a Clinical Microbiology Lab Technologist in the Diagnostic Infectious Disease Testing Laboratory, she plays a crucial role in analyzing clinical specimens, helping doctors make informed decisions about patient care. Hannah’s passion for science is now transforming into tangible results that directly benefit young patients.
When not in the lab, you’ll find her racing for the Fleet Feet Racing Team in Cincinnati or giving back to her community by volunteering with a local high school cross-country team.
Want to follow in her footsteps? It all starts with a degree from Mount St. Joseph University's Department of Biomedical and Natural Sciences! We connect students with co-op opportunities at top employers like Q Labs, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, and more, giving them real-world experience before graduation.
Hannah's advice for current students and/or alumni: "Use the Career Center - They can assist in various ways such as job searches, interview preparation, and resume reviews. Don’t be afraid to ask questions because it helps you learn and opens up more opportunities!"
