The Wellness Center Mission Statement
At the Wellness Center, we are committed to creating a warm and inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and supported. We offer comprehensive mental and physical health services, along with innovative programming, to meet the unique needs of the MSJ community. Our dedicated team is here to advocate for you, educate you, and provide compassionate care and treatment. Together, we strive to promote the Eight Dimensions of Wellness, enhancing the overall well-being of our students and the entire campus community.
Hours & Location: We are located in the Harrington Student Center.
Counseling Center Hours: Monday – Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Lunch Hour Noon - 1 p.m.)
Fall Health Services Hours:
- Monday: 8 a.m. - Noon
- Employee Walk-In Hours: 8 - 9:30 a.m.
- Tuesday: 1-5 p.m.
- Wednesday: 8 a.m. - Noon
- Employee Walk-In Hours: 8 - 9:30 a.m.
- Thursday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Closed Noon - 1 p.m.)

Our Wellness Center team members are dedicated to fostering a warm and inclusive environment where all students feel valued and supported. We provide a safe, confidential, and welcoming space for all students. Below is an overview of our services:
Case Management
Case Management provides a strengths-based approach to help students overcome challenges and reach their potential. Support is available for academic difficulties, emotional and physical health concerns, relationship challenges, financial stress, housing issues, and more. Read more.Counseling Services
Counseling Services help students navigate the complexities of college and life experiences, whether they are adjusting to a new environment, managing academic pressures, or addressing personal concerns. Our counselors work collaboratively with students in a goal-oriented manner to help them explore and better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. GROW Coaching
GROW Coaching is designed to enhance student well-being across the eight dimensions of wellness: emotional, spiritual, intellectual, physical, environmental, financial, occupational, and social. Read more.Health Services
Health Services are provided by a dedicated Nurse Practitioner through our partnership with TriHealth. Available services include sick visits, point-of-care testing, on-site prescriptions for select medications, select immunizations, and management of specific psychotropic non-scheduled medications. Please complete the New Client Paperwork form and the CCAPS assessment here to begin the process. It should take about 15 minutes to complete the paperwork.

Beginning July 1, 2024, The Mount is excited to partner with Uwill Student Mental Health & Wellness to provide Free Immediate access to Teletherapy, Crisis Support & Wellness.
Services available include:
- Umatch: Immediate teletherapy appointment, choose a therapist based on your preference, at a time that fits your schedule (day, night or weekend)
- Uhelp: Direct crisis connection, 24/7/365
- Urise: On-demand wellness, yoga, meditation, mindfulness and more

Let’s Talk is a free and confidential meeting with a MSJ counselor for a brief 30 minute conversation. Think, open “office hours” for counselors.

- You are unsure what resources are available to you.

Are you a faculty or staff member who is concerned about a student? The staff in the Wellness Center are available to meet with you for a consultation to provide information and resources. Please note that confidentiality is the cornerstone of our work and we are not able to provide any information about current clients without a Release of Information.

Faculty and staff can submit a Lion's Alert if they have concerns related to a student's mental health. We ask that you notify the student before the referral is made. Please note that confidentiality is the conerstone of our work and we are not able to provide any information about referrals or current clients without a Release of Information. We are pleased to have a partnership with Uwill, the leading student mental health and wellness solution. Uwill offers students free immediate access to teletherapy, a direct crisis connection, and wellness programming through its easy to use online platform.
To schedule teletherapy:
