Biography:

Jaimi Cabrera, LISW-S, is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a Supervision designation.  She has more than 15 years of experience working in in the areas of mental health treatment and prevention. She is an experienced clinician who has worked in both leadership and direct practice for children and families within the K-12 education, outpatient, office, and community settings. 

Jaimi has focused her career on mental wellness, working to create systemic change within families, schools, and communities. She specializes in Positive Psychology, Adult Learning Theory, Social Emotional Learning, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  She is skilled in program development and quality improvement, working to identify best practices to achieve high quality outcomes.  Jaimi has a strong passion for mindfulness and practices both personally and professionally. 

Jaimi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (BA) from the University of Cincinnati, where she was a Division 1 swimmer. She then went on to earn her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Cincinnati.  She lives in the Greater Cincinnati area with her two young daughters and their dog.

When not working, Jaimi enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, swimming, practicing yoga and traveling.
