Preparing for its largest first-year class in over a decade, the Mount is buzzing with campus enhancements designed to elevate the student experience.
Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff:
The Mount’s beautiful campus is abuzz with preparations to welcome our returning and newest Lions next month. We anticipate the arrival of the Mount’s largest first-year undergraduate class in more than a decade! I extend my sincere gratitude to our dedicated faculty and staff for their tremendous efforts this summer to take us To New Heights, through the following initiatives (among others):
- the renovation of the Seton Center Lobby, which showcases our beautiful Mid-Century Modern campus;
- the addition of a new campus icon – a giant, yellow Adirondack chair – on the Quad;
- the creation of a new Esports Arena, expected to be the largest and most powerful in the Greater Cincinnati Region; and
- the re-formatted Summer Orientation sessions and Online Onboarding, which began in June and will help prepare our newest undergraduates for success this Fall Semester and beyond.
These are just a few highlights of the many enhancements to the “Mount experience” that are debuting this summer and fall. Indeed, all of us in the Mount Community have much to which to look forward when we are back on campus together in August.
In the meantime, I encourage each of you to enjoy the remainder of the summer. I hope that you have the opportunity to rest and celebrate with family and friends over the 4th of July holiday weekend, as we honor our Nation on its birthday.
