Biography:

Dr. Lynch is a faculty emeritus of history at the Mount. He taught courses in American history, the history of recreation, protest music, and political philosophy. Professor Lynch received his Ph.D. in History from Miami University, as well as an M.A. in Humanities and a B.A in Philosophy from Xavier University.

Dr. Lynch has published extensively on the history of the labor movement, including "Strike Songs of the Depression." He has been recognized for his teaching on several occasions and received the Mount’s Sister Adele Clifford Excellence in Teaching Award in 1995.
