Mount St. Joseph University (formerly the College of Mount St. Joseph) has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to provide transcript ordering via the Web. Only an official transcript is sent directly to a student, third party, and/or institution specified by the student. The university is not permitted by law to issue copies of documents from other institutions. All financial obligations to the Mount must be resolved before release of a transcript will be permitted.

Transcript processing time is one to three business days (Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.).

For transcripts ordered through NSC, a student’s signature is required as authorization for the release of the transcript(s) for each order placed. The cost to order a transcript is $3.00 per transcript plus a processing fee of $2.25 per recipient. There is a $1.00 additional fee if sending electronically or a $2.00 additional fee if mailing. Express Mail Charges are not available at this time through the National Student Clearinghouse.

You can pay for your transcript order with any major credit or debit card. Your credit or debit card is not charged until your school sends your transcript(s). However, if you use a debit card, your bank may put a hold on your funds when we pre-authorize your payment. If you have questions on the pre-authorization, please contact your bank. Order updates will be sent to you via email and, if you choose, text messages. You can also track your transcript order online.

A transcript can still be ordered through Mount St. Joseph University (MSJU).  However, we highly encourage you to use the National Student Clearinghouse for a more efficient and cost effective process. To order through MSJU:

  • Use the Printable Transcript Request Form
  • This form can be mailed or faxed to the address shown on the “Transcript Request Form” or dropped off in person.
  • Please include a check or credit card method of payment for the appropriate transcript fee (Cash is accepted in person only.)
  • A student’s signature is required as authorization for the release of the transcript(s).

For transcripts processed at Mount St. Joseph University, the transcript processing fee is $10.00 for the first transcript and $5.00 for each additional transcript ordered on the same order. Express mail charges are at the student’s handling and expense.

Orders/payment checks sent directly to Mount St. Joseph University will be discarded after 30 days if all financial obligations to the Mount have not been resolved.
