Communication and New Media Studies enhances written, verbal communication and critical thinking skills.

Communication Studies is an interdisciplinary, liberal arts program that develops fundamental communication skills including:

  • Information gathering and processing
  • Problem solving
  • Audience analysis
  • Written, oral and visual communication

In this minor, you'll learn to persuade, influence, negotiate, and generate and adapt ideas. Through project work you'll also learn to plan, organize, evaluate and solve problems.
