Celebrating the impact of physical therapy and the next generation of physical therapists at Mount St. Joseph University
October is National Physical Therapy Month, an opportunity to recognize the important role physical therapists, physical therapist assistants and, students play in helping people improve mobility, strength, wellness and quality of life. According to the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), this year’s “PT For Future Me” campaign highlights the lifelong benefits of physical therapy, including prevention, wellness and maintaining strength and mobility.
At Mount St. Joseph University, students in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program prepare to make a difference through a personalized, collaborative learning environment focused on serving others and improving the health and well-being of the community. The program combines classroom learning with hands-on clinical education, giving students opportunities to apply their knowledge, and develop the skills needed to serve patients across a variety of practice settings.
This National Physical Therapy Month, MSJ celebrates the students, faculty, alumni and physical therapy professionals who are helping others move, recover, and thrive.
