The Department of Exercise Science and Integrative Health (ESIH) at Mount St. Joseph University is recruiting participants for Basecamp to Better Health: Employee Wellness Support, a 16-week research study focused on physical activity, body composition, glucose awareness, cardiometabolic health and sustainable behavior change.

The study will compare different combinations of wellness resources, weekly coaching and short-term continuous glucose monitoring using Stelo. Participants will also have access to standard MSJ wellness resources, including FitOn Health and, when eligible, Lark.

Participants will complete health assessments before and after the study, including measures of body composition, blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, hemoglobin A1c, muscle function and cardiorespiratory fitness, along with surveys about physical activity, wellness goals and exercise confidence.

Participation is open to MSJ-affiliated, benefits-eligible adults age 18 and older, with the initial pilot prioritizing MSJ employees. Participation is voluntary and will not affect employment, benefits or performance evaluations. Individual results will not be shared with supervisors, Human Resources or university administrators.

The active study period is approximately 16 weeks, with possible follow-up at 24 and 52 weeks.
