What is your year and major? What is your anticipated graduation year?

I am a junior and I am double majoring in Health and Exercise Science and Social Cpmputing.

Why did you choose the Mount?

I chose the Mount because the school and the people of the community were so welcoming, and they welcomed me with open arms and made it feel like home.

The Mount accommodated my needs as quickly as possible. They were very patient and helpful.

Are you involved in any student organizations or extracurriculars? If so, how have these supported your academic success?

Yes I am involved in many extracurriculars. I am a part of the Black Student Union, Campus Activities Board, Orientation Guide, and lastly I am a part of the MSJ football program.

How do you manage your course load along with other obligations?

I manage my course load with other obligations by using a planner and my time management skills to ensure I am spending the right amount of time on school work, and leave openings for other obligations that I may have.

Are there any staff or professors you would like to credit who helped accommodate your transfer experience?

When talking about my transfer experience I would like to thank a lot of people. But in particular, I would like to thank my coaches, football teammates, advisor Mary Mazuk, advisor Jadah Jackson, and advisor Dr. BC Liscombe.

Describe one of your favorite memories at the Mount so far.

My favorite memories at the Mount so far is definitely being a part of winning the HCAC Football Championship.

What advice would you give to someone looking to transfer to the Mount?
A piece of advice I would give to someone looking to transfer to the Mount is be open to all help and don't be scared to ask questions. Also try to join as many organizations as possible. It really helps you adapt and be a part of the Mount community.

Open Response Opportunity (Anything else you want to share about your experience?)

I really am glad with the decision I made to come to the Mount. The community accepted me with open arms and really made me feel at home. If I had the option to go back and choose another school I would choose the Mount for sure.
