Brooke Rouse, Communication and New Media Studies major at Mount St. Joseph University, was recently published in the Cincinnati Enquirer for her opinion editorial on the path needed to solve the immigration crisis.

She profoundly describes the economic struggles immigrants face, providing clarity and research to the issues at hand through a humanitarian lens. Mount St. Joseph University extends appreciation to Rouse for becoming actively involved within her community, and encourages the voice of others on campus.

"It is important to educate and bring awareness to the stereotypes and dramatized fear of immigrants, and recognize immigrants’ positive contributions to the U.S. for years," writes Rouse.
