On August 24, Chris Duvall has been named the new Head Coach for the Mount St. Joseph University Esports program.
CINCINNATI, Ohio - Chris Duvall has been named the new Head Coach for the Mount St. Joseph University Esports program, by Melanee Wagener.
"I am extremely excited to continue my esports career with Mount St. Joseph University," said Duvall. "I look forward to being able to work with the students to help advance and grow the esports program here at MSJ! I'm excited to meet my new colleagues and to start working with them. I also wanted to thank my former supervisors from Special Olympics and the University of Cincinnati for helping with me grow as a professional and with my job search!"
Chris comes to The Mount after spending the last year working with Special Olympics North America as one of the organization's main points of contact for all things Esports.
Previously, he worked as a Graduate Assistant at The University of Cincinnati helping to oversee the Club Esports program.
"We are extremely excited for Chris to come on board here at The Mount," said Wagener. "Chris has a unique Esports background that should help him to quickly build our program. We look forward to watching the Esports program grow into what we envisioned when we started it a couple of years ago."
He is a 2018 graduate of University of Cincinnati, where he also earned his Master of Science in Sports Administration.
Chris joins The Mount hoping to continue to grow the Rocket League, Fortnite and League of Legends teams. MSJ Esports will soon be coming to a Twitch stream near you!
