Mount St. Joseph News

The Mount St. Joseph University Career & Experiential Education Center is excited to invite students to our Virtual Career & Co-op Fair on September 30th from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

virtual career fair is an online event (as it takes place at a certain time and is not ongoing) in which employers and job seekers each meet in a virtual environment, using chat rooms, teleconferencing, webcasts, webinars and/or email to exchange information about job openings.

If you have never taken part in a virtual career fair before, The Career & Experiential Education Center is here to help you get ready for this event. By offering a diverse array of employers, our undergraduate students and alumni will have a wider breadth of opportunities, which will ideally lead to securing co-op placements and full-time career opportunities.

Students MUST register before Sept. 30:

What will the virtual fair look like?

The best resource is the Virtual Fair Basics video that CareerEco provides. This will show you what the fair will look like on your end, how to make an account, where to upload your resume, how to find the list of registered employers, information on what each company’s chat room will look like, how to request a private chat with one of the recruiters, and more.

You can use your laptop/computer or mobile device to access the Career & Co-Op Fair! If you want to use your mobile device, click here for a tutorial to learn about what that will look like.
