Mount St. Joseph University appoints Dr. Sharon Wagner as the new Dean of the School of Business.

Mount St. Joseph University is pleased to welcome Dr. Sharon Wagner as the new Dean of the School of Business.

 

Dr. Wagner is coming to the Mount from Linfield University in McMinnville, Oregon, where she served as tenured professor and Harold C. Elkinton Chair of Business since 2010. Previous to that appointment, she worked at the University of San Francisco as a tenured professor and Director of the M.S. in Organization Development (MSOD) program, among her other experiences. 

 

In addition, Dr. Wagner earned her Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the College of Business Administration at the University of Tennessee, and earned her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University. She began her appointment as Dean at the Mount on August 10, 2020.

 

“I’m delighted to join Mount St. Joseph University during its Centennial year,” says Dr. Wagner. “As we navigate major changes in the landscape of higher education, it is my privilege to help serve the mission of the Mount. I look forward to working with my colleagues in the School of Business to build upon previous achievements, enhance internal and external connections, and co-create the future of MSJ business education.”
