Amy Rainwaters ’16 MSOL used her degree to springboard her #LegacyofaLion to a new role of coaching others to achieve personal success.

Rainwaters said.  “I earned a promotion (lead IT business analyst) when I completed my MSOL at the Mount.  After a couple of years, I decided to do something more meaningful. I embarked on becoming a Health and Wellness Coach. I chose a training program with the Mayo Clinic. I moved to Alabama to be close to my family. I completed my training, earned my Mayo certification, settled into a new house, and launched my own business.”

From helping IT projects run smoothly, to coordinating gymnastics programs, to operating a small business.  Amy Rainwaters has made leadership a part of who she is.

“I liked the curriculum of the Organizational Leadership program”, Rainwaters said. “The courses were interesting to me. I liked how classes were structured and the price was the most reasonable in the area.”

Rainwaters speaks highly about the Mount’s MSOL program and what it has allowed her to achieve.

She said, “I feel the classwork and faculty helped me gain the emotional intelligence I needed to help others improve their health. I learned more about how businesses work which is helping me run my own.”

Today, she is the owner and operator of a Health and Wellness Coaching business, Amy Rainwaters Coaching.  Her Legacy of a Lion was sparked by a rewarding program that allowed her to develop at Mount St. Joseph University.
