Biography:

Dr. Davis worked for General Electric in manufacturing engineering and quality control for six years.  She began working in higher education as an adjunct faculty member at Cincinnati State in the manufacturing engineering program; later transitioning to work in Humanities and Sciences at that college. She developed the first co-op program for arts and sciences students at Cincinnati State, and served as Assistant Dean for the Division for a year. Following that Dr. Davis became a tenured faculty member at that college, as a co-op coordinator for Civil Engineering and Aviation Maintenance. In 2003, she joined Mount St. Joseph University as Director of the Career & Experiential Education Center. During the next eight years she worked with her team to add events for students, including an etiquette dinner, additional career fairs and partnerships and more co-op opportunities for students. Service Learning also expanded during that time.  In 2011, Dr. Davis became Associate Academic Dean (later changed to Associate Provost for Academic Support), responsible for academic support areas of the College, including the Advising Center, the Career Center, the Registrar, the Learning Center, and the Upward Bound program. In 2019, Dr. Davis retired and became Assistant to the Provost.
