Biography:
Hayden is passionate about helping students find their paths and gain the courage to pursue them. As Assistant Director of Career & Co-op at Mount St. Joseph University, he supports students in the School of Business & Communication, School of Education, Department of Creative Arts, and Department of Liberal Arts, guiding them through co-op experiences, career exploration, and professional development. Hayden is known for creating an encouraging environment where students feel heard, supported, and empowered to take their next steps with confidence.
In addition to career development, Hayden teaches courses on professionalism and experiential learning, where he blends practical skills with a focus on personal growth. He enjoys building strong connections with faculty, employers, and community partners to expand opportunities for students and ensure they graduate ready to thrive. He is especially interested in innovative approaches to career readiness, including the ethical use of AI in education and experiential learning.
Before joining the Mount, Hayden directed internship programming and student success initiatives at Northern Kentucky University’s College of Business. He holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Western Kentucky University, where he also studied event and facility management and was heavily engaged in study abroad education. Outside of work, he enjoys tabletop gaming and tackling home improvement projects—both of which reflect his love of strategy, creativity, and building things that last.
