Biography:
Tiffany Selm is an Adjunct Professor in the Gifted Program, located in the School of Education at Mount St. Joseph University. In addition to her work at MSJ, she also works for a public school district in southwestern Ohio as General Education Teacher. Tiffany holds a master’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of Indianapolis and a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University.
Most recently, she served in the positions of Principal and Assistant Principal. She missed the classroom and this school year, she returned to the classroom after serving thirteen years in public school administration. This is her seventeenth year in education, one of which was serving as a District Coordinator for Gifted Services. Over the years, she has worked in both the state of Ohio and the state of Indiana. She brings a unique perspective of how gifted education differs across various states and enjoy sharing her experiences. Furthermore, she enjoys working with educators from all over to explore best practices and strategies to meet students’ needs in the classroom. On a personal note, she is married with two small children. Their home is busy and happy!
