Biography:

Dr. Tambra Isenberg is an English Language Arts Curriculum Content Specialist in the Center for Reading Science at Mount St. Joseph University. She earned her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) with a concentration in reading science from Mount St. Joseph University in 2024. Dr. Isenberg also holds a Master of Education degree with a focus on language and literacy, as well as accreditation as a Reading Specialist, from Millersville University.

Prior to joining the faculty at Mount St. Joseph University, Dr. Isenberg worked as an educational consultant with the Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network (PaTTAN) in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She has over 17 years of experience in public education, serving as a reading specialist, elementary classroom teacher, and special education teacher. Additionally, Dr. Isenberg has contributed to professional development as a National Professional Learning Facilitator for Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling (LETRS), an Acadience Mentor, and a facilitator for the AIM Institute for Learning and Research's Pathways to Proficient Reading course.

Her expertise and dedication to advancing literacy education support her mission of empowering educators and enhancing student outcomes through evidence-based practices.
