Biography:

I thoroughly enjoy chemistry. Teaching gives me an opportunity to share my interest in the subject. I brings me great delight to watch students on their journey to learn and apply their knowledge in this area. It also gives me an opportunity to share the science with students that are taking chemistry courses as part of another major, such as any of the health fields or even as a course to fulfill the University science requirement. I like to think I can help them see how this broad field of science can be applied to many areas of industry, the environment, and health, as well as explain some of the experiences we have every day.

As member of the Chemistry Department at The Mount, I am working to develop labs for first year chemistry courses that will compliment lecture topics, develop laboratory skills, critical thinking, and written communication skills.
