Biography:
Dr. R. Audy Johnston began her career as a nationally certified paralegal before shifting her focus to higher education after earning a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Palm Beach Atlantic University. She now serves as a Professor of Leadership and Management and holds a PhD in Leadership and Change from Antioch University. A passionate advocate for adult female learners returning to college, Dr. Johnston builds supportive academic relationships and shares her research to elevate underrepresented voices. She has presented at national conferences, co-authored peer-reviewed articles, and co-chaired the 2018 International Leadership Association Global Conference. A graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County (Class of 2023), she now co-chairs Engage Forward, guiding professional cohorts in supporting local non-profits as well as is the Co-Leadof the AMPLIFY Mentorship program for graduate students in West Palm Beach, Florida. Her global perspective is shaped by over a decade of travel and international study across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and South America.
