Biography:
Megan Pater serves as Academic Director and Admissions Co-Chair within the Department of Physician Assistant Studies at Mount St Joseph University. Her professional career began as an Athletic Trainer where she worked with college athletes at Wright State University, and the University of Cincinnati. During this time, she also served as an adjunct instructor in UC's undergraduate athletic training program. Shortly after obtaining her Masters in Physician Assistant studies at Kettering College, she worked as a PA in community mental health at New Path (formerly St Joseph Orphanage), and Positive Leaps. In addition to her role at MSJ, she works urgent care clinics at Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. She is a Cincinnati native and enjoys teaching in multiple areas of the program.
Megan enjoys spending time with her three kids, exploring outdoors, watching sporting events, and attending country concerts with her husband.
