Dr. Currie is the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and an associate professor in the Department of Chemistry. She holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Cincinnati. Professor Currie joined the Mount's faculty in 2008. Her research interests include the determination of adulteration in cremain samples using inductively coupled plasma (ICP) and capillary electrophoresis (CE) as well as the investigation of heparin purity using CE. Dr. Currie became associate provost in 2019.
