Biography:

Phil Muldoon is a Visiting Instructor, Department of Business Administration.  He teaches classes for the Financial Economics major and in the MBA program including Corporate Finance and Fundamentals of Investments.  This is his second time at the Mount having taught Financial Economics full time from 2016 to 2019.  Currently he is also an Adjunct Economics Instructor at Edison State Community College and a Consultant/Advisor at TEF Fusion, a tax/energy solutions firm, and at Sniffer Robotics, an emissions measurement/management company.  Beyond this, Phil held multiple college teaching positions at several institutions.  Additionally, Phil amassed sizable investment analysis/advisory experience as a buyside and sellside equity analyst and money manager for several banks and wealth management/investment advisory firms.  Here, he received multiple national awards for stock picking performance and EPS estimation accuracy.  He also was employed as an Economist for a national retailer.

Phil is accredited as a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA).  He earned a Bachelor’s from Ball State University (Biology and Political Science) and Master’s in Economics from University of Cincinnati.  He also is ABD in Economics from UC having completed all terminal degree requirements except dissertation.  He also is a member of National Association of Business Economists (NABE).
