Mount St. Joseph University congratulates student Zac Corbett on being awarded a scholarship from the Association on Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD), an organization dedicated to the professional development and academic success of those with disabilities. Scholarships are awarded to members of AHEAD, or those nominated by an AHEAD member, on the basis of GPA, campus leadership activities, community service, and plans for a career in serving the disability community.

Zac Corbett is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing with a minor in Communication and New Media Studies. He serves as Vice President of both SGA and Rainbow Alliance, and he is also a Resident Assistant and a Co-op Ambassador. He currently co-ops at The Center (Cincinnati event venue), and has found a passion in the wedding and event planning industry. After graduating in May of 2020, Zac hopes to gain employment at U.S. Bank in their outreach efforts.

Zac Corbett also participates in Project EXCEL, the Mount's comprehensive academic support system focused on assisting students with a disability such as a specific learning disability or ADHD.
