Expertise: Structural Biology, Science Writing
Dr. Johnson teaches General and Physical Chemistry at the Mount. He also studies the structure of proteins and other biological molecules using computer simulations and a technique called nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. When he's not in the classroom or in the lab, he's often at his desk trying to write about science for a general audience. His book Anxiety and the Equation: Understanding Boltzmann's Entropy was published by the MIT Press.
