CINCINNATI, Ohio (April 16, 2018) – Mount St. Joseph University has announced that Paige Ellerman has been named Vice President of Compliance, Risk, and Legal Affairs/General Counsel. Ellerman will serve as the University's chief legal officer as well as provide legal expertise services to Mount administrators, faculty, staff, and other institutional representatives. She will also serve as a member of the President’s Cabinet, Corporate Secretary, and as liaison to the Governance Committee of the Board of Trustees.
Ellerman received her Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University after graduating from the University of Kentucky with her Bachelor of Arts. She has been recognized by Chambers USA® as a leading lawyer for business; has been named to the “Best Lawyers in America” since 2013; and received the “Forty under 40” award in 2011 from the Cincinnati Business Courier.
Her most recent role was with Cincinnati law firm Frost Brown Todd, where she has served as partner for seven years. Prior to 2011, Ellerman was a partner at Cincinnati law firm Taft, Stettinius & Hollister. Currently, she serves as a member of the Board of Visitors for the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University; a member of the Women’s Leadership Roundtable Steering Committee of ArtsWave; and a member of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber Alumni Network Executive Board, among other positions.
Ellerman officially joins the leadership team at the Mount on Monday, April 23, 2018.
