2016 DPT Students Win Departmental Awards

Mount St. University held its 8th annual Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program Convocation for the Class of 2016 on May 5, 2016 in the Mater Dei Chapel.  Students and their friends and family joined Mount faculty and staff in celebrating their accomplishments in the Program. Students earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree which enables them to sit for the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) to become a licensed physical therapist. 

The Convocation speaker this year was Sam Kegerreis, PT, MS, ATR, Professor Emeritus at the Krannert School of Physical Therapy at the University of Indianapolis who was awarded the 2016 Distinguished Physical Therapy Educator.

In addition to celebrating their graduation from the program, several students in the Class of 2016 earned departmental awards recognizing their outstanding work over the past three years. Awards were presented by DPT faculty member Eric Schneider, PT, MPT, OCS.
