Students Love Cincinnati, and We Do Too!

In a recent article from, Wallethub ranked Cincinnati the 12th best college town nationwide, the second best among mid-sized cities, and number one in Ohio. The study factored in Cincinnati’s affordability and low housing costs, educational opportunity for students, and the city’s thriving social scene –making the area a top college choice among prospective students.

That’s not all our Queen City is recognized for. Our historic neighborhoods, booming art district, one-of-a-kind restaurants and professional sports teams are just few of many things that make our city a creative and unique place to live.

CityLab recently named Cincinnati in their top ten large metro cities with the fastest growing creative class; measuring a 21 percent growth between 2000 and 2014. They defined creative class occupations as “made up of knowledge workers, tech workers, artists, designers, entertainers, and professionals in education, healthcare, and law.” According to the study, these occupations comprise roughly a third of the workforce today and accounts for half of all wages and salaries across the United States.
