The College of Mount St. Joseph’s Campus Activities Board (CAB) is bringing the Kamikaze Fireflies, an entertainment act that combines comedy and stunts, to the Mount on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 7 p.m. in the College Theatre. It is entertainment for people of all ages and the public is welcome to attend. Tickets will be sold at the door for $2 per ticket.

The Kamikaze Fireflies are a two-person vaudeville act, featuring Rob Williams and Casey Martin, which has performed on Broadway and the Today Show, as well as in theaters around the country. They also recently performed at the Ohio Renaissance Festival.

“We wanted to bring this group to the Mount because their act is something that everyone, from college students to families, can enjoy,” said Tristan Chaput, traditional events chair of CAB. “Half of the money we collect from tickets will go to charity.”

Doors will open at 6 p.m. Mount students, faculty and staff are offered free admission with their I.D.

The College of Mount St. Joseph is an undergraduate and graduate Catholic college that provides an interdisciplinary liberal arts and professional curriculum emphasizing values, service and social responsibility.
