As we look to our past, we have many milestones to celebrate, including several program anniversaries, over 40 years of competitive athletics, and 50 years of the current campus.

This academic year has been filled with incredible accomplishments and many new initiatives, including a new partnership with Education at Work, the opening of The Flats, our off-campus art gallery in Price Hill, a new core curriculum, and a conference championship in volleyball.

A look to our future sets the stage for many milestones to come, as we complete the final stages of an intense planning process, resulting in the Vision2020 Strategic Plan. Grounded in the liberal arts and in the heritage of the Sisters of Charity, and guided by our engaged and talented Board of Trustees, we’re leading the way to the Mount’s future. The article on page 26 illustrates our Vision2020 Plan.

We remain blessed and thankful for the continued growth in financial support from our alumni, foundations, business leaders, and loyal donors. As I reflect on my fifth year as president, I continue to be amazed at the immense talents and tenacity of the Mount Community. The excitement is palpable!
