The Studio San Giuseppe Art Gallery at the College of Mount St. Joseph is very pleased to announce Confluence: Partnership and Creativity.
February 24 – March 26, 2013
This collaborative show will explore the inspirational connections between creative partnerships and friendships that stimulate imaginative thinking, fuel motivation and support artistic production.
Panel Discussion
The individuals invited have steadfast relationships to individual and collective growth and are linked to various members of this ensemble on a personal level or through the making of art. So, what happens when creative inspirations are shared? How does trust endure? How are creative ideas developed? What keeps it going? These are some of the intriguing questions that such an exhibition will address.
A panel discussion with a selection of exhibiting artists will examine some of these questions at the opening reception. This discussion will be held adjacent to the SSG Art Gallery, in classroom ART 104 and will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 24.
Reception
An opening Artists’ reception will be held on Sunday, February 24, 1:30-4:30 p.m. The opening reception is free and open to the public.
Studio San Giuseppe Art Gallery hours
Monday - Friday from 10am to 5pm
Saturday and Sunday from 1-5pm.
*SSG is closed on major holidays, but will be open for the College’s Spring Break, March 9-17. Admission is free.
