Biography: 

Craig Lloyd received a MFA in painting from the University of Cincinnati and a BFA in painting from Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio. At the Mount he taught a wide range of classes in the Department of Art & Design including Drawing, Painting, 2 and 3D Design, Printmaking, Art History, and Computer Graphics. He has been accepted into summer printmaking workshops including: Tamarind Institute, Albuquerque, NM; Crown Point Press, San Francisco, CA and the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada. He is the recipient of an Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award, a City of Cincinnati Individual Artists Grant, and a Summerfair Foundation Aid to Individual Artist Award. He has shown both regionally and nationally in more than 180 group and solo exhibitions. He was awarded the Mount St. Joseph University Distinguished Scholar Award in 2017. He retired from the Mount in 2020 and continues to activley exhibit his work.
