Biography:

Dr. Waldeck is an assistant professor of management in the Department of Business Administration. She graduated from The Ohio State University with an M.A. and Ph.D. in Labor and Human Resources, with additional degrees from the University of Cincinnati.

Professor Waldeck has published in several areas of HRM and has authored a book, "Advanced Manufacturing Technology and Workforce Development." She is a member of the Editorial Board for the International Journal of Applied Management Science.

Dr. Waldeck's current research interests include media impacts to worker socialization and newcomer expectations.
