Ms. Burke is an assistant professor and chair of the Department of Interior Design at the Mount. She received her M.Ed. from the University of Cincinnati, where she also earned a B.S. in Interior Design from the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP).

Professor Burke has 17 years of experience in the field of interior design. She has worked in various capacities including commercial, retail, corporate design, and space planning. Ms. Burke continues to consult on design projects and has been working on furniture design. She has also successfully completed the Praxis evaluations and is licensed to teach in the State of Ohio.

Ms. Burke is interested in the use of computers in education and exploring opportunities for non-traditional educational opportunities. She and her husband enjoy reading, traveling, running, hiking and spending time with their four children.
