Dr. Zalot has been at the Mount since 2004. He teaches courses in Health Care Ethics, Business Ethics, Catholic Vision, and Theology of Marriage. He also teaches Rome: A Sacred and Secular History, a travel-study course that takes place in the Eternal City of Rome. He is the author of two books, Catholic Ethics in Today’s World and The Roman Catholic Church and Economic Development in Sub-Saharan Africa: Voices Yet Unheard in a Listening World. He has also authored various articles and book reviews, and has presented papers at national and international conferences.
In his spare time, Dr. Z enjoys traveling, golf, reading, and attending Mount athletic events. He lives in Cincinnati with his wife, Sue, and daughter, Maria.
