Biography:

Stephanie Madura begins her first year at the Mount as an Athletic Trainer for Men's and Women's Volleyball and Cheer and Dance teams. She also serves as an Instructor in the Athletic Training Education program. Stephanie comes to the Mount from The University of Maine, where she worked as an Athletic Trainer for the Men's Basketball and Women's Field Hockey teams.

Madura recieved a Bachelor's for Science in Athletic Training at The University of Maine (ME), a Master's of Science in Kinesiology at Temple University (PA), and is currently working on a Doctorate of Athletic Training at A.T. Still Unversity (AZ). Along with her professional career, Stephanie has presented her Master's research at several professional events (2015 National Athletic Trainers' Association Annual Convention, St. Louis, MO; 2015 Eastern Athletic Trainers' Symposium, Philadelphia, PA; Genomics at Temple Symposium; and CHPSW Research Day). Her research is published in Brain Injury Journal (Madura SA, McDevitt JK, Tierney RT, Mansell JL, Hayes DJ et al. Genetic variation in SLC17A7 promoter associated with response to sport-related concussion. Brain Inj. 2016;00(00):1-6.).

Stephanie Madura currently resides in Mount Lookout. She is a native of New Jersey.
