Assistant Professor of Accounting

College of Mount St. Joseph

The Division of Business at the College of Mount St. Joseph in Cincinnati, Ohio seeks applicants for a full-time, tenure-track, 9-month faculty appointment in taxation and accounting at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Candidates should have a demonstrable ability to teach variety of accounting courses at the undergraduate level and financial and managerial accounting to non-accountants at the MBA level.  Candidates will have a special opportunity to expand the major/increase enrollment. This position is subject to budgetary approval.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ph.D. or D.B.A. in accounting from an accredited institution or an LL.M in Taxation (with accompanying academic preparation in accounting from an accredited institution) required; possession of a CPA license strongly preferred. Experienced assistant professor and associate professor candidates are expected to possess an appropriate teaching and publication record. Entry-level assistant professor candidates possessing significant, relevant professional experience in taxation will be considered.
