Classification: Faculty – tenure track
Purpose: Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, Ohio is accepting applications for three full-time tenure track assistant professor positions in Biology beginning August 2017. The Biology Department in the School of Behavior and Natural Science offers undergraduate degrees in biology and for pre-health careers.
Duties: The candidate will be expected to develop and teach courses in the Biology Department.
• advise students
• conduct research
• participate in departmental operations
• participate in University committees
• other duties as assigned
Education: Candidates for the positions should have an earned doctorate in Biology or a related discipline before beginning the position.
Experience: Successful candidates will have disciplinary expertise to offer courses in two or more of the following subjects: microbiology, cell biology, developmental biology, general biology for majors, ecology, animal behavior, and anatomy and physiology.
