Biography:
I can say with conviction and enthusiasm that the College of Mount St. Joseph has most certainly contributed to the person I am today. The Mount has enhanced my life in countless ways. In short, I believe that the Mount has taught me the value of a relationship – a relationship with others, with myself, and with God. I met lifelong friends at the Mount. We worked hard together, grew together, laughed together, took two steps forward and one step back together. I truly admire my friends and sincerely cherish the friendships I have with them today. Through my friends, through my professors, through my advisors, and every other adult I encountered while on campus, I learned about myself. I learned to trust my instincts, follow my passions, and to always operate from a place of empathy, kindness, and integrity. I also developed a stronger relationship with God while at the Mount. I learned to embrace life’s questions. I learned to be inquisitive in my faith. I developed a greater respect for the planet, for the people who inhabit it, and for the power of prayer. The Mount has impacted my life in too many ways to mention, but the relationships I cultivated while there are invaluable to me.
