Biography:
Before coming to the Mount I was fairly quiet and not comfortable speaking in front of a group, or giving a presentation. I voiced these concerns to any professor who would listen and made many excuses why I could not speak in front of a crowd. However, the professors of my advanced writing, oral speaking, and Paralegal Capstone courses did not only listen, they took action. They encouraged and mentored, and me to be more comfortable in preparing presentations and while presenting to large audiences. Due to their confidence in me, I am now more apt to step out in front of a crowd and confidently voice my opinions. Their patient teachings taught me the difference between attitudes and aptitudes. Now I can write and speak about my aptitude with a confident attitude. Hats off to those great Mount professors!
