The 2013 Flying Pig Marathon offers the Mount family a chance to celebrate the many milestones we have reached this year.
This year, the Mount’s Alumni Association is partnering with the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon to offer the College’s walkers, runners and cheerleaders the lowest possible registration rates. Aside from offering discounted race registration, the Mount will also have a special post-race gathering area at Yeatman’s Cove, and a reserved cheering area for participant’s families and friends.
The 2013 Flying Pig Marathon offers the Mount family a chance to celebrate the many milestones we have reached this year. By registering for the race, you are also helping to plan for the Mount’s future, as 10 percent of each registration fee will be donated to the College’s Annual Fund for future scholarships and student activities.
The Alumni Association, along with several other departments and organizations from the College, will take part in the marathon. All Mount participants will receive a commemorative Flying Pig Marathon/College of Mount St. Joseph t-shirt. This is a great opportunity to improve your fitness routine and run or walk for a cause.
To receive the Mount’s discount rate, call the alumni office at 513-244-4425 or email us. Early registration is currently underway, and the discounted college rate is available through April 15. These rates apply to the 5K run, the 10K run, the open relay, the half marathon and the full marathon. The discounted registration is available to all Mount students, alumni, faculty, and friends.
The 2013 Flying Pig Marathon will be held in Downtown Cincinnati. The race will start at the intersection of Central Ave. and Mehring Way.
