Welcome Weekend also is a celebration of new students arriving at the Mount. Plan on having some fun as you get to know classmates, upperclassmen, staff and faculty. All new first-time freshmen and transfer students must attend Welcome Weekend. We'll mail you more details by late July.

Welcome Weekend is August 23-25, 2013. This event includes some final information sessions and other activities related to the start of classes on Monday, August 26, 2013.

New Student Fee

The New Student Fee ($200) is automatically charged to your account, regardless of attendance at all Orientation activities. (Exceptions must be approved by the director of first year experience.)

This fee helps cover some of the cost of meals, activities and programs that take place during both Orientation and Welcome Weekend.
