The Wellness Center provides the Mount community with a safe environment for enhancement of emotional, physical, spiritual, and psychological well-being.
Counseling Services
A caring staff of professional mental health counselors offers individual and group counseling. Other services include drug/alcohol assessments and treatment, psychological and psycho-educational testing and referrals to appropriate outside resources if necessary. All counseling services are free.
Health Services
Health Services is staffed by a full-time nurse and a medical assistant with physicians seeing patients on a limited basis. Appointments and walk-in hours for the nurse and physicians are available Monday through Friday during fall and spring semesters.
There is an additional fee to see a physician ($10.00). All students – resident and commuter, part time or full time – can visit Health Services, regardless of whether they have their own personal health insurance or insurance offered through the College.
Note
Your primary care physician must sign both of the above forms. These forms are only required if you will be living in the Residence Hall. Commuters don't need to complete them. All students participating in intercollegiate athletics are required to complete an on-campus physical in August in addition to your Residence Hall physical.
